NDIS REGISTRATION RENEWAL AUDIT - Thank you to everyone who participated in phone surveys for our Registration Audit. Our auditors shared the feedback was positive and all our participant families said wonderful things about us.

Castle Family Survey - The results were overwhelmingly positive! 100% of respondants advised we have "just the right amount" of outings, that they understand and are happy with our new pricing structure for 1:1 and 1:2 supports, and gave us a 8/10 for over all satisfaction.

Staff Engagement Survey - 26 Employees responded - thats close to 60% of employees.92% of responders are satisfied with their rosters and work hours and 78% are excited to come to work. We asked 30 questions in total, and I will present these in the next newsletter, and in more detail with staff.

Post School Leavers - We are starting to reach out to schools to present ourselves as an option for post school leavers in the area.

Precious Angels Office Hours are 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday. If the office is closed, please contact the afterhours number (0421 521 750).

The afterhours phone is shared between Amanda and Dillon during the week and Kayla on weekends.

Love our service? - If so, we'd appreciate leaving us a review on Google. <3

From the desk of Amanda

We have almost completed our NDIS Registration Audit, just a few details to complete to finalise the process.

Some of the outcomes internally for Precious Angels are new, improved and updated Policies and Procedures, engagement of Community Nurses in Brisbane and Mackay to oversee, train and monitor our High Intensity Supports, and a new eLearn platform for staff. The eLearn platform has launched and we will be using this along side our day to day face-to-face training to ensure our support workers have the best training we can give them. This means they provide the best support for our families.

Toni from our Mackay office is coming to Brisbane next week for training, and she will be taking over a lot of our internal administration. You will start to see more of Toni (digitally - phyisically she will remain in Mackay). Toni is of course lovely, very skilled and knowledgable, and keen to help.

We have taken on 6 new families in the past week! So I will again be looking for Support Workers to join our merry team of Angels. As always, if you have anyone you'd like to recommend, please send them our way.

Have a great weekend.

Amanda

@The Castle

We celebrated two birthdays recently. Happy Birthday to Lily and Toby! They both enjoyed themselves with their Castle friends, lots of merriment and games. We've also been out in the community, bowling, shopping and playing. It's been a great month at The Castle.

Apple's Castle Program for next week is available on Facebook:

Castle Program

Apple has created a great program for the upcoming fortnight. If your Angel is heading to The Castle, make sure you check out what we've got planned!

Out with the Angels

We've enjoyed a full house at respite and activities, playing in parks and exploring the community. We love helping our participants achieve their learning goals as well have a bit of fun too!

Don't forget to check facebook for extra photos too.

Photo of the Month

Here's a great photo of young Enoch enjoying the water. With a smile like that, Enoch warrants being the photo of the month!
